Dr. Alana Flim
Dr. Alana has had a true passion for animals since she was very young, insisting that her parents allow her to pet every dog they came across. As she grew, her love of animals, biology and connecting with people grew, making the decision to become a veterinarian all she could think about.
Originally from Toronto, Dr. Alana knew from a very young age that she was meant to live in a rural setting. Moving to Guelph, she completed a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Biology prior to completing her DVM degree at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2018. Now she is very excited to call rural Bowmanville her home!
Dr. Alana’s professional interests include surgery, preventative medicine, pain control, nutrition, behaviour and training. Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, friends and family, as well as time outdoors hiking, camping, horseback riding and sailing. She is the proud owner of a rescue cat named Beep Beep, and is soon to introduce a rescue pup to her family.

Dr. Jessica Clark
Hello, I'm Dr. Jessica Clark and I have been a companion animal veterinarian for about 15 years. I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College after attending the University of Prince Edward Island for animal biology, and have worked in both general practice and emergency veterinary hospitals since. My passions in practice are wellness care, client education, dermatology, ophthalmology, geriatric and palliative care, internal medicine, and animal welfare. I practice compassionate care that focuses on the wellbeing of the patient using resources available to the client. I love increasing access to veterinary care via telemedicine, to help pets who may otherwise have challenges getting medical help in hospitals! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet, no matter where you may be! :)

Natalie McHugh, Receptionist/Animal Care
